Short Bio

    Wei Zhang is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, East China Normal University, and a full-time mentor at Shanghai Innovation Institute. He is a senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), an executive committee member of the CCF Database Technical Committee, and a committee member of the Social Media Processing Technical Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS). He received his Bachelor’s degree from the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, where his doctoral dissertation was recognized as an Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Tsinghua University. During his doctoral studies, he was also a joint training Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His long-term research interests include data mining, machine learning, recommender systems, large language models, and intelligent education. He has published over 100 papers in top international journals and prestigious academic conferences and has filed more than 10 national invention patents (7 granted). He has led key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (including a major research plan cultivation project and general programs). He has received multiple honors, including the First Prize for Teaching Achievements from the Shanghai Computer Society, the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Shanghai Computer Society, and the ACM SIGMOD China Rising Star Award. He has also guided students to win championships and runner-up awards in several international top-tier conference competitions.
    张伟，华东师范大学计算机学院教授、博士生导师，上海创智学院全时导师，中国计算机学会高级会员、数据库专委会执行委员，中国中文信息学会社会媒体处理专委会委员。 本科毕业于哈尔滨工业大学计算机科学与技术学院，博士毕业于清华大学计算机科学与技术系，博士论文获清华大学优秀博士学位论文。攻读博士期间，曾作为公派联合培养博士生在美国伊利诺伊大学香槟分校进行学习。 长期从事数据挖掘、机器学习、推荐系统、大语言模型、智能教育等领域研究，在国际重要刊物和著名学术会议上发表论文100余篇，申请国家发明专利10余项（已授权7项）。 主持科技部重点研发课题、4项国家自然科学基项目（包括重大研究计划培育项目和面上项目等），曾获上海市计算机学会教学成果一等奖、上海市计算机学会科技进步奖、ACM SIGMOD 中国新星奖，指导学生获得多项国际顶级会议学术竞赛冠亚军。
